This project involved designing a series of beer cans for Chelsea & Co. Brewery, a local brand. I created two original illustrations for the cans, each telling a unique story while connecting to the surrounding region.
The first design, "Bearly Blue," features a bear kayaking near the Wilson Carbide Mill ruins in Chelsea. The second, "The Inner Roar," shows a house cat sitting on a dock at Meech Lake, gazing up at a tiger formed in the stars. Each concept blends local scenery with imaginative storytelling to create visually engaging and memorable packaging.
This project introduced the technical challenge of designing for a non-flat surface. I had to consider how the artwork would wrap around a cylindrical form, ensuring the illustrations flowed seamlessly across 360 degrees. It pushed me to think beyond traditional layouts and adapt my designs for a physical, three-dimensional product.
