QST Voodoo

QST voodoo

For our final project in Graphic Design VI, we were given a free-choice assignment. While brainstorming what to create for my grad show, I came up with the idea of wrapping a pair of skis with my own graphic. Since I knew my co-op would be at a signage shop, I also knew it would be something I could realistically produce and install. I spent a couple of weeks exploring different ideas before landing on my “Voodoo” concept, which features a tiki character shooting a dart through a blowgun. This project was challenging due to the unusual canvas size about 165 cm by 10 cm and the high resolution required. Despite that, I’m really happy with how it turned out. The final result reflects the kind of designer I aim to be: versatile and able to bring ideas to life, no matter the format.
