This school packaging redesign project really pushed my skills to the next level. Building a full dieline and redesigning an existing package made me think about design in a more physical and functional way. The original bag form factor didn’t work well with the puck-shaped design of the product, so I created a new octagonal tower structure that promotes stackability and saves a significant amount of space. The new design is also eco-friendly, made entirely from recyclable cardstock. As a user of the product, I already had a clear understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of the current packaging, and I’m very happy with the final result. After posting this redesign online the founders of the company reached out saying they loved my design !
